Hello, Sven.

Despite the ucsc.edu in the URL, we do not actually support the Archaea
Browser. I would recommend contacting the Lowe Lab and I see you copied
them on your original email. I am copying them here as well. One thing
worth noting is that our Browser is currently on v270 while the Archaea
Browser is currently on v256 which offers one possible explanation as to why
your hg19 images are viewing properly and your H. pylori images are not.

Please contact us again at <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected]
if you have any further questions.

Subject: UCSC Track Hubs
Hello,

My name is Sven Findeiss and I'm currently working on UCSC data integration
of our recent proteome study. I found the very appealing opportunity to use
Track Hubs for large data sets
(http://archaea.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/hgTrackHubHelp.html). I got
everything working including a detailed description page for each track.
When I started to integrate the itemImagePath variable into my trackDb.txt
file nothing is displayed on the details page anymore. In order to figure
out if this is a configuration problem on my side or maybe on the archaea
ucsc I set up the same (only changed paths and chromosome identifier) Track
Hub for the human hg19 chromosome 1 and it works.

Here are the links to my hub-files:

human hg19: http://www.tbi.univie.ac.at/~sven/DATA/trackhubs/Test/test1.txt
<http://www.tbi.univie.ac.at/%7Esven/DATA/trackhubs/Test/test1.txt>
helicobacter pylori 26695:
http://www.tbi.univie.ac.at/~sven/DATA/trackhubs/Test_Sven_pylori/test1.txt
<http://www.tbi.univie.ac.at/%7Esven/DATA/trackhubs/Test_Sven_pylori/test1.t
xt>

I loaded both on the corresponding UCSC and an item should be displayed in
the region 1000 - 15000 (chr for hpylori and chr1 for human). To show you
the difference of the details page I attached two screenshots.

Both directories are readable from the outside and by that you could also
check my config files etc. of the hubs

It would be really nice to get the itemImagePath variable working on the
archaea UCSC as well.

Many thanks in advance!

With kind regards,
Sven
