I just committed a whole new set of gcc-apple ebuilds. The rough changes are as follows: - full support for gcc-config - appropriate slotting - added gcc 3.5 and 3.3 (latter doesn't compile with gcc-4, haven't tried with 3.5) - language USE-flags, builds fail when using fortran or gcj though :( - ebuilds contain the GCC version now (yay!)
Please beware that due to the versioning change portage will say it will downgrade your compiler. Please beware that when installing gcc-3.5, your default compiler is immediately switched also. You can use gcc-config to switch back and forth. However, you HAVE TO REEMERGE gcc-config FIRST! I added support for Darwin's dylibs there. The latest GCC-4 compiler is the compiler Apple put in Xcode 2.4, which I found the sources of at http://www.opensource.apple.com/darwinsource/tarballs/other/ -- Fabian Groffen Gentoo on a different level -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
