Hi Mark, it should be somewhere in /var/.../spool/... Normally it is /var/log/cups/...
Actual I do not have a gentoo installation in front of me, so I am not sure. But you can find in cupsd.conf a section, which show you, where the logfiles are. Matthias Am Dienstag, 15.
