I have been using gentoo-sources-2.6.9-r14 as my kernel and everything is working great. I've chosen not to install the latest "stable" kernel because of problems with nvidia drives. I note that the only gentoo-sources ebuild is now an older version than mine - version -r9. Two questions:
Why has a newer version been removed in favour of an older ebuild? Should I "downgrade"my kernel to -r9? -- [email protected] mailing list
