i have recompiled the kernel whit all the support for
frequency scaling but seem to me that the system runs
always the same kernel even if i have added a line in
menu.lst in grub  , infact i receve the message
"frequency scaling not compiled in the kernel" but i'm
sure i have compiled it.

i will look in the mailing list for acpi help about
amd
