What has this to do with switching to 2005.0?  You could start by not
hijacking other threads.*

As for Java, I haven't merged it here, so can't help you with that.

* Hijacking a thread is when you reply to a message, erasing the subject
and replacing it with your own.  The references header still contains the
references to the old thread, so a decent client will still display it as
part of the old thread, altho some have an option to break-thread when
the subject changes that can be enabled if desired. Instead, start a NEW
thread with a NEW post, not a reply.
