Thanks... Thats Ok I have plenty of native opterons I can build on I was just more concerned if I needed extras like binutils etc (and hence have to much around changing /usr/libs paths). This is great! Onto it now... Hopefully I can build up a nice kernel for that laptop and when the client comes back just drop it in and everything (fingers crossed) will go.
