Isn't WMV just a container format (like OGG/AVI/etc)? If so, it depends on the codec used. I've had some work on 64-bit xine/mplayer, and some only on 32-bit (since they use binary windows DLLs). Obviously if the codec is closed-source and only available as a 32-bit DLL it won't work in 64-bit land. I'm sure you can create a WMA/Theora/Vorbis file just as you can probably create an OGG/Sorenson file - the former would probably work fine on amd64, and the latter probably would be spotty. It isn't the container that matters as much as the codec... -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFDcMgDg2bN8aFizRkRAvlJAJ0SZVE58D7UMJWP+Y+mGcROgYrCJwCfdp3P FnEGEeXkDC4ZBP4/y5XXN7o= =/IBK -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
