As a specific example, the vim-spell package I use, not amd64
specific, no longer exists. It has been replaced by vim-spell-en and
others but they are hard masked because they require a newer vim. I
had seen notes somewhere that the vim-spell package was slated for
removal. What packages had you noticed?
There were several actually, different ones on different servers.
Apparently, my sorry butt didn't look hard enough for the answer as it
was in the gentoo forums. Running 'emaint --fix world' fixed my problems.

I've noticed over the last couple of days that I'm seeing several
packages without ebuilds when doing a world update. What's the
beef? I've not seen anything on the Gentoo site or elsewhere that
lets me know what's going on. Is anyone else seeing this?
