I have done these additional Tests: (all with the Gentoo Linux Installation LiveCD 2005-12-11)
1) It boots fine as long as i dont change the keyboard layout.
2) When trying to write an altered partition table with fdisk (w
command) i get:
The partition table has been altered!
Calling ioctl() to re-read partition table.

3) The error in 2) appears no matter wether i do "gentoo" or "gentoo
noapic acpi=off nodetect", then load the sata_nv module.
