Yes, it is. DMA is *always* be enabled with SATA drives. You can use hdparm -Tt to verify the throughput of the disks, and basically as long as you get > ~50MB/s, you are good. How much RAM do you have in the box. Emerge --info might also help us. -Richard -- [email protected] mailing list
