Hello, I've been trying out Enlightenment E17 for the past couple of days, and I've run into some compilation problems with the "examine" lib, which is a dependency for "engage" (a nifty iconbar thing).
At the start of compilation, the proccess throws up these error messages: examine-examine_client.o: In function `examine_client_get_val_cb': examine_client.c:(.text+0x8e2): undefined reference to `ewl_spinner_value_set' examine-examine_client.o: In function `examine_client_revert': examine_client.c:(.text+0x65c): undefined reference to `ewl_spinner_value_set' examine_client.c:(.text+0x691): undefined reference to `ewl_spinner_value_set' examine-examine.o: In function `cb_set_int': examine.c:(.text+0xac): undefined reference to `ewl_spinner_value_get' examine-examine.o: In function `cb_set_float': examine.c:(.text+0xbf): undefined reference to `ewl_spinner_value_get' examine-examine.o: In function `draw_tree': examine.c:(.text+0x683): undefined reference to `ewl_spinner_step_set' examine.c:(.text+0x69d): undefined reference to `ewl_spinner_min_val_set' examine.c:(.text+0x6b0): undefined reference to `ewl_spinner_max_val_set' examine.c:(.text+0x6ca): undefined reference to `ewl_spinner_step_set' examine.c:(.text+0x70b): undefined reference to `ewl_spinner_min_val_set' examine.c:(.text+0x723): undefined reference to `ewl_spinner_max_val_set' examine.c:(.text+0x742): undefined reference to `ewl_spinner_step_set' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [examine] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/examine-9999/work/e17/apps/examine/src' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/examine-9999/work/e17/apps/examine' make: *** [all] Error 2 ... ... ... !!! SEND BUG REPORTS TO [EMAIL PROTECTED] NOT THE E TEAM ... I've tried poking around in the source code, but I couldn't find none of these functions (ewl_spinner_value_set, etc.) in my include directory, so I think this is caused by some sort of API change. I know E17 is pre-alpha, and that this sort of thing is bound to happen. Should I file a bug report, or should I just wait a week or two for the problem to be solved? Also, should I send the report directly to the e-mail Portage gave me (above) or post it to Gentoo's Bugzilla? I don't think support for E17 is quite official yet, and this is the reason for my question. I thank you all in advance for your patience and your answers :). -- Bira http://compexplicita.blogspot.com http://sinfoniaferida.blogspot.com -- [email protected] mailing list
