This is normal, they changed the way these flags are handled because not all 64bit cpu's support the same instructions. As you can see in the mplayer package, mmx,sse and sse2 are still masked because they supported on all 64bit cpu's. Those are always enabled ! The remaining flags you can set if your cpu supports them. $ grep flags /proc/cpuinfo -- [email protected] mailing list
