Thanks, thats been it. It's working perfectly, the only issue is that i am not able to detach a session which i am in. konsole seems not to pass the Ctrl-a Ctrl-d command to screen via ssh. cu Dieter -- Frank Castle is dead! Call me 'The PUNISHER'!
