The 'taint' message is normal; it means the Nvidia kernel module source is closed, so the Linux folk won't help you if your kernel gives you problems. I personally use the nv driver that comes with X.org, mainly because X.org upgrades don't break it and I don't do much 3-D, but have found that it is best not to have any of the Nvidia stuff installed at the same time or X.org gets confused. -- Barry.SCHWARTZ ĉe chemoelectric punkto org http://chemoelectric.org Free stuff / Senpagaj varoj: http://crudfactory.com 'Democracies don't war; democracies are peaceful countries.' - Bush (http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2005/12/20051219-2.html)
