i can confirm that konqueror reads the java executable installed as does openoffice. the problem is that konqueror is not fully compatible with all the sites around the net: there are still a great deal of devs that continue to ignore acid standards and still do stupid things compatible with only iexploder or firefox. and the bad thing is that these ugly devs just disable some advanced stuff if it the browser detected is not firefox or iexploder (as gmail and this drives me a little mad). -- dott. ing. beso
