Can't seem to get rid of this error on my livecd...

When booting in verbose mode, error is the last item on the screen before
login. This is from a minimal livecd.

Tried stable and testing baselayout and splashutils. Only thing that changes in the error message is the line numbers. Above errors from testing branch baselayout (which solved a rebooting/shutdown problem on the livecd) and testing branch splashutils.
Any ideas?

The error about the filesystem being read-only stands out to me. You may want to check `dmesg` and see if the kernel isn't switching your filesystem into a read-only mode because of some corruption.
