I'm just curious, but what makes you think the CD *would* login automatically? ;] Here's the general philosophy with catalyst. For the "generic-livecd" target, we tend to *not* do most of the automatic stuff that we do for the releases. The reason is simple. We don't think that we should force anyone to have their CD act a certain way. We expect users to perform *any* necessary customizations to make their CD work the way that they want it to work.
