Your problem is related to a package and not to catalyst. Take a look
around..

Hi, I solve it thanks, what I did is this:
I removed kerncache option from catalysts.conf
and I changed from x86 to i686 the Subarch
now everything works.
I was able to create a minimal cd 60M, now I can start to manipulate the
packages I need on it and not.
BTW: the repository has catalyst 2.x on it.. is there a mayor
difference? is alpha? can it be used?
witch use is Gentoo using officially?
