I know exactly what the kernel does but I don't understand what magical voodoo your playing with the kernel parameters to setup init. I've total you that with this line in the "livecd/bootargs: console=ttyS0,115200 console=tty0" spec file livecd will _does_ not start a tty on both the local console and the serial port. Telling me what the kernel does is not relivent to the problem with the way init is being setup. Would you like me to file a bug on this? -J --
