Help. I need flesh memory stick, but do not
understand how I am able to
connect it.

modprobe usb-storage and check the output of dmesg

to

find out the scsi device. You can also use cdrecord
-scanbus to find the device.

For a more user friendly solution see here:

BTW you may get more response on the gentoo-user

list.

Did you plug the drive into the usb port? If so,
unplug it and try again. Does the drive and/or hub
have a green indicator light?

hub 1-0:1.0: USB hub found
hub 1-0:1.0: 2 ports detected
hub 2-0:1.0: USB hub found
hub 2-0:1.0: 2 ports detected

Your dmesg shows 4 ports total. Is that all you have?
If you have more then you may need the ohci-hcd or
ehci-hcd drivers:

modprobe ohci-hcd
modprobe ehci-hcd

I hope this helps. There are more subscribers on the
gentoo-user list if you want to try posting there.

I tried to connect and disconnect drive some times. Light of device is switched on. Dmesg report tail changed as:
usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 2
usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4
usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 4
usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 5
usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 5
usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 6

Also, I tried to use:
bash-2.05b# modprobe ohci-hcd
FATAL: Module ohci_hcd not found.
bash-2.05b# modprobe ehci-hc
FATAL: Module ehci_hc not found

May be something is not compiled in kernel?
