Hi,

for some reason, I get logged out of my gnome session suddenly and for
no apparent reason. It happens once in a while, maybe 2 - 4 times a
day. I was logged in as "rbragg" but I also had a terminal open and I
was logged into that as root.

I have managed to capture a segment from my /var/log/messages right when
it happened, so here it is:

-------------------------------------------------------
May 11 14:16:24 thor spamd[12480]: spamd: server killed by SIGTERM,
shutting down
May 11 14:16:24 thor su(pam_unix)[12497]: session closed for user root

May 11 14:16:34 thor gdm[12204]: Error reinitilizing server

following is when I logged back into gnome...

May 11 14:17:04 thor (rbragg-14526): Resolved address
"xml:readwrite:/home/rbragg/.gconf" to a writable co

-----------------------------------------------------------

Does anybody know what is going on? Should I re-install something?
change a config file?

thanks
rick
