yes my problem with "pipe"
I'm try "pipe" in xterm,gnome-terminal,tilda in XFCE and FluxBox, but it not 
working, and in any other program (browser, editors etc.) Yes, i have Russian 
locale ... but in gnome or plain-console(tty1..6) "pipe" works on SHIFT+\ (both 
in English and Russian keyboard). I don't know what config files or options i 
must change to solve this problem :) Without "pipe" life in *NIX very difficult 
:)
