Evolution 2.8.2.1 has developed the habit of crashing when I start it up in mail mode. I get:
$ evolution CalDAV Eplugin starting up ... ** (evolution-2.8:10625): DEBUG: mailto URL command: evolution --component=mail %s ** (evolution-2.8:10625): DEBUG: mailto URL program: evolution (evolution-2.8:10625): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_layout_set_hadjustment: assertion `GTK_IS_LAYOUT (layout)' failed (evolution-2.8:10625): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_layout_set_vadjustment: assertion `GTK_IS_LAYOUT (layout)' failed ... and no window. If I run it under strace, it looks like evolution segfaults, or some component or library it's using segfaults. I've re-emerged evolution but the problem remains. If I start evolution with --component=calendar it comes up OK and I can switch to mail mode _most of the time_ although one out of ten times or so this also causes it to crash. If evolution is already running and I start it in mail mode, it starts just fine - no DEBUG notices, no Gtk-CRITICAL notices and no crash. I probably need to re-emerge something, somewhere, but have no idea where to start to address this. Any advice would be appreciated. -- Lindsay Haisley | "In an open world, | PGP public key FMP Computer Services | who needs Windows | available at 512-259-1190 | or Gates" | http://pubkeys.fmp.com http://www.fmp.com | | -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
