Hi,
I woke up this morning to find my desktop hanging in the middle of a
boot. I did not reboot it, it seems that it just crashed sometime in
the night. It did send me one last logwatch email. So, seeing it
hanging there, I rebooted it by hand.
It gets stuck and hangs here:
* Remounting root filesystem read/write ... [ ok ]
* Starting up RAID devices (mdadm) ... [ ok ]
* Setting up dm-crypt mappings ... [ ok ]
* Checking all filesystems ... [ ok ]
/dev/md0: recovering journal
this is where is just hangs for at least an hour so far.
Should I just wait?
My OS and boot disk is /dev/sda
the /dev/md0 is a raid array for storing data. I really need that data!
In the last logwatch, there seem to be lots of kernel errors about not
supporting support DPO or FUA. Here is my last logwatch email:
