That's not split ebuilds, it's a single ebuild that builds the requested (by LINGUAS) l10n packs. Thus the request/suggestion for true split packages. Whether Gentoo/KDE wants to bother with the proposed change or not is a question I'm not qualified to answer, but perhaps I can at least clarify the question asked, so an answer can be given that matches it. =:^) -- Duncan - List replies preferred.
