Short translation : since 07/15/2002 it's legal to import and use GnuPG in France without any key limitation, thanks to the FSF who asked a special authorisation. This authorisation stands for version 1.0.7 and the following versions, as long as modifications touch only the implementation and not the crypto-convention (algorithm). Should the crypto-convention be touched, the FSF would certainly asks for a new authorisation.
