Hi all,

I just want to give you guys a heads-up on the packages I commit to
stable on x86 in the next few minutes/hours.

The packages are:
net-analyzer/snort-2.0.5-r2
net-analyzer/prelude-nids-0.8.6
app-admin/prelude-lml-0.8.10
app-admin/prelude-manager-0.8.9
dev-libs/libprelude-0.8.10
net-analyzer/tcpslice-1.1_alpha3

No major change has been in any of these packages except for snort.

Snort ebuild have been changed so it is much more configurable, and if
you are not careful you may not end up with what you expected.
Description of the (changed) snort USE flags:

prelude - enable prelude output plugin.
flexresp - enable connection tearing (was not configurable before)
samba - enable alerting to Windows workstations

so, if you don't change your USE flags you will build snort WITHOUT
flexresp and smbalerts enabled, something that was default before (but I
doubt anyone was actually using that functionality anyway).

Please assign any bugs about these packages to me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) if
they are problematic.

PS
Snort 2.0.6 and 2.1.0 ebuilds are on their way.
DS
