[gentoo-dev] making an ebuild for a kernel module

Which ebuild currently in the tree uses the ideal process for building an installing a 
kernel module *and* builds differently depending on whether the kernel is 2.4 or 2.6? I'm 
trying to write my own ebuild for the GATOS km kernel module for V4L video capture, and I 
want to do it right.
