Btw, the reason you can't use ${ARCH} (or any other variable which will
change depending on the environment) is because portage will be unable
to compute the digest properly.  On the other hand, when you use x86? or
similar, then portage can "pretend" to be all the arches and USE-flags
at once, so the digest can be computed.
