Hi It is my pleasure to announce to you that Xavier Neys is taking on the job as new Operational Manager for the Gentoo Documentation Project. With combined forces Xavier and Sven will continue leading the Documentation team to even higher standards.
Xavier has been working actively on the GDP as lead translator for the
French translation team and, later on, as lead of the Internationalisation
Subproject. With good knowledge of GuideXML and XSLT and active
contributions throughout the documentation repository Xavier is the perfect
man for this job.
By combining both leading forces the GDP will continue to grow: more
contributions to the documentation repository are coming; lots of bugs have
already been fixed and a (hopefully) steady stream of new reports will make
our documentation more and more foolproof and precise. And thanks to the
time-out (*cough*) that the July/August period provides new ideas and
projects can start formalising.
