I won't be able to start work on this for some time, as I'm still tied up with glep15, though I'd like to join the server team once I begin.

The build server could have a chroot per client. Once some packages are built, an admin is notified to overview testing of the new software. If the admin decides the new packages are working and stable, he accepts the upgrade (on the build server via an interface) and the build server continues as I've already stated.
