Jan joins us from Schlangen, Germany to help out with the java packages in portage. Welcome =)
As you can probably surmise from the short intro, Jan is a very private person, but in the weeks after he joined us, we have learned the following:
) As an infant, he has underwent martial arts training in the Swiss Navy, with a black belt in origami (both A4 [ weight classes 60, 80 and 100 grams] and Letter [ weight classes 20 and 15 pounds ]).
Obviously, he can make wonderful hats which double as boats.
) Because of his dad's politicial convictions, the family fled to Germany in a cuckoo clock at the end of the Cold War.
) He's an avid collector of tweezers, and has even a set of optical tweezers with which he traps atoms on particularly quiet days.
) He has admitted to one vice: Since late puberty, Jan has suffered from a relatively uncommon case of kleptomania. He is what is colloquially referred to as a turd burglar, but he claims this has improved a lot after the operation.
