Evening list,

Hot off the devrel press yada yada is Fernando J. Pereda, a.k.a. ferdy.
He'll be joining us to help out with net-mail development at first. The
name may ring a bell to those of you who use nbsmtp -- he wrote it. In
the future, he may also be joining up with the web-apps and dev-tools
herds.

Fernando comes from a small village north-west of Madrid, in Spain.
He's a big fan of swimming and walking in the mountains, even if
mountains may be a bit dense for the former... whatever yanks your
crank. He also writes that this is convenient for him because his
"village is 'in' a mountain", but that all sounds a bit Dr. Evil to me.

He's studying Computer Science at the Carlos III University in Madrid,
while also acting as a lab technician and sysadmin there. His hope, he
writes, is "to finish my career and then become a teacher there."

So, everyone give me a hand in welcoming Fernando to the team.

Cheers,
Tom
