Evening list (yet again),

The devrel doppler radar has been in full swing recently, and I'm
pleased to be able to welcome another developer to the team.

This time though, I'm welcoming a developer who will be managing the
servers and services in the Gentoo infrastructure rather than managing
the packages in the Portage tree. Kyle England, from Kentucky, USA, has
a BS in Computer Science and an MBA. He has a permanent job as a
systems/network admin, and he also has a Gentoo Linux administration job
on the side. He has earned a CCSA and a Network+ certification. With
that, I'm sure you'll agree he's very qualified for the job :)

He writes that he has experience in an impressive number of
applications, and that he has "a strong interest in system and network
security".

He is unmarried, he has no kids that he knows of (I guess that's a
Kentucky thing?), and he also says he's a little bit disillusioned with
the Kentucky experience. That said, he also writes, "I live in a college
town and school just started back, so I may change my tune".

He enjoys working out, cars, american football, and college basketball.

His mentor, Ramereth, also informs me I should integrate something from
http://www.ahajokes.com/kentucky_jokes.html into this mail, but I'm
struggling to find something appropriate. I guess you're just going to
have to do with that link as you wish ;)

So, now that you know a bit about him, please help me welcome our new
infra developer to the team.

Cheers,
Tom
