Neither do i, if you don't like a certain behaviour of an ebuild open a bug 
and if you're abled to, submit patches. Random complains won't help anybody 
(and i won't waste my time answering such posts). So, if anybody has 
something he doesn't like with the current situation: Please talk directly to 
me! (see below for the most effective way of contact...)

That'd be nice, patches are always welcome and i'll try to include them in a 
timely manner.

I tend forget to close old ones... (sometimes because i'm waiting for feedback 
that never arrives...)
