Not that I've been able to ascertain.

That's not even mentioning the OpenAFS ebuilds for kernel 2.6 series that are
in dire need of being commited into the Portage tree. Here's an email I wrote
to one of the developers regarding this problem, and since I haven't had any
luck finding a resolution, perhaps a list-post will be more useful:

I realize that the developer brought on to maintain the OpenAFS ebuilds had a
fair amount of catch-up to do regarding the existing bugs, however those same
bugs are now left stagnating and are not being addressed in a timely (or even
untimely) manner.

There's presently an updated ebuild available that will allow OpenAFS to work
with 2.6 kernels, and it's been sitting in neglect for quite a while in
Bugzilla, having not been commited to Portage despite the fact that several
users (including myself) are already using it for testing purposes.

Has the maintainer chosen not to continue supporting the package, or is this
simply a lack of recent updates? It's becoming quite aggravating to see the
working code available, and having to manually overlay it onto the tree every
time I need to upgrade my software.

I've attempted to contact the maintainer on two separate occasions over the
past three months and have received no response to either one of the
messages. Would you mind looking into this matter? I would be satisfied with
an "it's being worked-on," however filing another bug report about the same
issue would likely accomplish nothing of consequence, given the
circumstances.

We really need to find a resolution to this. Other OpenAFS matters have been
dealt with (such as the pam_krb5 dependency issue): can we please get, at the
least, a commit on the newer OpenAFS ebuilds?
