Hi,

Is there a link to what this involves? I saw the arch-tester (AT) announcement, but IIRC it didn't include nor have I seen anything about qualifications and guidelines/rules/whatever or the like. I've been meaning to ask, and this seems like the perfect opening to do so.
From http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/arch-testers-amd64.xml:
"AT's will be responsible for responding to all test requests in a timely manner(keywording, security, marking stable, requests from devs on irc, etc...) and ensuring that the application works, as well as check that the ebuild doesn't contain any glaring errors. AT's must keep their system up to date, use reasonable CFLAGS, and keep with the current profile. When marking a bug as tested all AT's will use the keyword "TESTED" in bugzilla (in the "keywords" field)"
Additionally, we need to trust that person. We normally trust active, committed users, that have shown interest in development/a working system.
