1. opengl-update still likes /usr/X11R6/include, and probably shouldn't.
Good catch. This can probably simply be changed in a new opengl-update version, since AFAIK, all xorg-x11 versions ever have used at least symlinks in /usr/include/GL. It should be pretty safe though, because I don't foresee that symlink going away for ages.
2. Concerning sparc patches at Bug 79467: The sunleo patch is required, I believe, pending testing. Weeve and perhaps a couple other people will provide feedback. I am unable to test it beyond verifying that it installs as I have it in the patch and the resulting sunleo driver builds. The patch is required until freedesktop releases it as part of their distribution (6.9.x?).
OK, keep me posted.
The sunffb+xaa patch right now I have as optional (on USE=xaa). Unless freedesktop adds it to the distribution for 6.8.2, for the 6.8.2 release I'd prefer to keep it optional on USE=xaa, simply because it does change the functionality of the sunffb driver. I do not feel strongly about this, however, and if the sparc community comes back with enthusiastic endorsement of it then there is no need to make it optional. It should be provided one way or another however.
I'd probably feel more comfortable using a flag more like sparc-xaa, so it's fairly obvious that it's a sparc-specific patch. That way other people don't think that USE=xaa actually does something, and we don't need to mask it in a hundred use.mask's.
Thanks, Donnie
