I see your point, but cannot agree.

If his question hadn't been in direct reply to my post, this being a
development list and all, I probably wouldn't have replied.  However, once
I choose to reply, I'm not going to simply black out what I believe,
should the topic legitimately come up, as it did.

As for that belief, now seems the appropriate time for the below sig
change, which I've been contemplating since I read the article.  I'll just
point to it, and point out Gentoo's own choice of the GPL, in lieu of the
previous multi-paragraph argument I had typed and out of respect for the
list.

You are right with the dev list part, so fup2 set... (tho I don't know how
it'll fair thru the news2list gateway and with various local mailing list
pref settings). If you wish to reply to the list, I won't deny you last
reply, but I'll do my best not to reply to that, as I've already said what
I believe I must say.
