I'm currently battling to keep the Minimal InstallCD below 50MB, so
every little bit counts.  Currently, I am at 52MB, so adding 140KB to
the LiveCD just means that I have to find 140KB somewhere else.

That is definitely not my fight.  I am 100% willing to drop nano like a
bad habit in favor for vim on the stages, but I am not willing to argue
it.  If you can convince people that the default editor should be vim,
I'll back you, but I am definitely not going to lead that flame-fest.
