There may be. Take a look at xc/programs/Imakefile and see whether there's some #define you can echo to host.def to specifically build iceauth after BuildClients is turned off.

Yeah, it should be a real easy tweak to that patch to just add either iceauth or $(ICEAUTH) or whatever variable they call it in the Imakefile.
