So far as I know, sparc is fine with 6.8.99.8; it does neet the evdev.c
patch shown at Bug 89801, attachment 59869.  I know that part of this
little patch is upstream (or so says ajax); I don't know if he accepted
the reason sparc needs the whole thing of if he left it at "that's
revolting." :-)  All the patch does is define two missing constants if
they are not already defined.
