Could you explain why it is impossible?
However, my point is not trying to force GCC into split ebuilds, but rather
having the GCC suite installed in a consistant manner. I don't like the
idea of having a couple of languages in one ebuild, while other languages
are installed via their own ebuild.
IMHO it would be easier for the end user (like me) to either install GCC
with one ebuild, enabling the languages I want via USE flags, or have one
ebuild for each language, but not one ebuild for a handful of languages and
separated ebuilds for each of the others.
