So https://bugs.gentoo.org works? There you can file a bug under "Gentoo Infrastructure" product, which has a "Git" component. Much better place to start debugging the issue. You'll most likely want to include a verbose output from git, and traceroute to git.gentoo.org wouldn't hurt either. -- juippis
