Hi, I just wanted to share that I've started using dev-python/patatt which lets you sign patches sent w/ git-send-email, and I encourage others to as well.
When applying patches with b4 am or b4 shazam (from net-mail/b4), signature verification is performed. Same thing with fetching the mail itself of course manually. It's done via custom headers rather than MIME attachments. It's very easy to setup (https://patatt.docs.kernel.org/en/latest/contributor-guide.html#automatic-signing-with-git-send-email), just run per-repo: $ patatt install-hook sam
