Completely off-topic here. Write yourself an UDEV rule, such as:
BUS=="usb", SYSFS{serial}=="123456789ABCDEF", KERNEL=="sd?1", NAME="%k",
SYMLINK+="usbstick"
and you'll have /dev/usbstick symlink there.
