Maybe I should have been more clear. Anything in /etc/conf.d/ should be able to be read by a POSIX compliant shell. This means no arrays. At this point in time, the only thing that uses arrays in /etc/conf.d/net - or any other bashisms or non POSIX shell stuff is out net config.
