even contemplate him question a decision of such an august body as the
Council is to subscribe to scurrilous rumours of the basest sort.

PLease don't. Speaking as a user, not a "dev" you are in the wrong place. If
you want to get involved with gentoo, start as one of us under some
godawful nickname (i hear theTroll is free ;) After all devs are users too.

The spirit you subscribed to is actually with the users who do something
with their machines, rather than fart about with pseudo-bash. Believe it or
not, they remember you.
