Um, why would you have it set to that? It's only coincidence that it worked
up until now.
LDFLAGS="${LDFLAGS} -Wl,--hash-style=gnu -Wl,--as-needed"
The reason it changed is because -Wl,--as-needed was added to the dev profile
and LDFLAGS doesn't stack.
